Here in South Texas, not just in Brownsville, but everwhere, really, people often refer to large trucks as “semi’s” or 18-wheelers. It really doesn’t matter what you call these truckes because they are BIG and if one of those hits you it can do an awful lot of damage. A truck accident, whether on the roads of Brownsville, Harlingen, or even near South Padre, is not something you’d wish on your worst enemy. You will probably be lucky if it is just your automobile that is written off, because they can cause massive injuries as well, and quite often death. (more…)
