Here in South Texas, not just in Brownsville, but everwhere, really, people often refer to large trucks as “semi’s” or 18-wheelers. It really doesn’t matter what you call these truckes because they are BIG and if one of those hits you it can do an awful lot of damage. A truck accident, whether on the roads of Brownsville, Harlingen, or even near South Padre, is not something you’d wish on your worst enemy.
